Long time gone

Wow it has been a long time since we posted anything! We have had a lot going on in the last couple of months. We finally found out we are moving to Houston, in less than 2 weeks actually. This is a good thing and we are very excited about it. Check out the pictures of our new house there if you haven't seen them yet. Jason's sister, Jenilee, got married over Memorial Weekend and we were all lucky enough to make the cut into her wedding party. They had a lovely ceremony at the Botanical Gradens in Birmingham. The kids did great and looked very cute. Jack stole the show, being the ham he is. I'll have to post some pictures when I get a chance. Jason was a "ill" after a little food poisoning but managed to survive for the most part. Jenilee looked beautiful  and everything was just perfect. Prior to and leading up to the wedding, the kids and I spent the better part of May in Alabama. We had good intentions to see everyone but ended up trading  off being sick for most of it.  Now that we are back home and post-wedding, we are gearing up for our move to Houston. The kids are so excited they can't stand it. Aerin asks everyday if we are going to move that day. We are within 2 weeks and closing out our time here in Kansas City. We are going to cap off our stay with a cookout this weekend with our friends here to celebrate Father's Day/New beginnings/Jason's 30th birthday! Yep, Jason is the big 3-0 this year. Jason keeps hoping it will go unoticed in the middle of getting ready to move.  Oh but is he wrong! Moving Day is scheduled for the 23rd of June. We are obviously ready! Again, we are going to try to update the blog on a more regular basis, especially with pictures of the kids. That's all anyone really cares about anyway!  Until next time.....
